So as a blog page owner you must use correct ways to promote your blog pages to improve the visibility of your blog page in the internet by doing ping or submit or announce it to some particular Ping Servers.
If you use any of the popular blogging platform, most of them have their own ping tool and once you ping your blog post using their submit tool, many search engines will send their spider to crawl your blog post and will show it in their search results and there are more chances that your blog will be shown in the big search engines like Google and Bing. It is better to use Windows Live Writer as it will allow you to ping automatically whenever you create a new content page.
To do this

  1. Open Windows Live Writer.

  4. Check the send pings to the URLs below checkbox. Input the URLs that you want to be notified of your new content, they should be added one under each line.
  5. Click OK.

So whenever you publish a blog post do not forget to ping it. Your Ping will tell the search engines to visit your site and crawl the newly published content and to show it in their search results. You can do this job manually with the permalink of your post.
